The BCS community is hosted on our proprietary app called Kintro, where you can ask the community for help, get intros, suggestions, resources etc, book people for coffee, join events and generally get tangible support from BCS members.

First Thursdays at BCS means grabbing drinks at Bounce in Battersea or the Esher Rugby Club, where we catch up and meet each other over a game of table tennis, a game of ruggers or a casual braai.

How does the First 100 membership work?
Our first 100 members get early access (from the day you’re approved) for free, and a discounted membership fee of £20pm starting in 2025, should you choose to stick with us.
Apply using the “Request to Join” button above and completing the application form. We review all membership applications within 24 hours. If your application is accepted, you will receive join instructions over email.
If the First 100 membership option is still on the website, then there are still spots open to be reserved.
Is Big City Saffas only for South Africans?
Anyone with Southern African origins can apply to join. Those of you from Bots, Namibia, Moz or Zim… We’d love to have you too.
BCS is exclusively for Saffas because the strength of our shared identity compels everyone to help each other so much more than you’d find of a normal London members club. We’re all lending each other a hand, and we’ve just found that Saffas love to help Saffas. We don’t want to dilute that.
Why is there a cost to membership?
A community is only as strong as its members. We don’t want grifters. The cost is super manageable, and you can cancel at anytime for a full refund (with zero questions asked). If you’re still concerned about cost, contact us and we’ll see if we can help out.
The first year is free for our first 100 members, otherwise we charge for membership.
Will BCS help me network with Brits too?
Yes! There’s nothing like a warm intro to speed up networking, so using the BCS community as your conduit to the UK ecosystem is the easiest place to start integrating into the UK.
In the interest of more direct networking, however, we also invite interesting, successful and connected Brits to our monthly social events, for you to connect and chat with.
